This poem is in response to Sonya at Reowr’s prompt to complete her poem following the first two line prompt.
Thank you Sonya for an inspiring prompt!💗
Dreams like water-coloured paintings
Wash away when days are raining
As colours fade dreams transition
to emerge an act of fission
heart unwinds a trellis it makes
flowers grow laughter belly aches
Criss cross around the globe so near
waves of intention ever clear
Rain dissolves a thread of intent
pastels and pinks our hearts content
Only with some brief morning sun did I see reflective crystal rainbows – I am so looking forward to the variations of color that spring will bring 🙂

Oh boy! I can’t wait either! We finally have had a long streak of rain here in San Diego and hoping for gorgeous spring blooms. Only a few months left to wait.
