Desire

This is my contribution to Frank Jansens weekly photo challenge.

This weeks subject is Rose. Frank shared a rose that he overlaid special effects to, “create an explosion of energy to reflect the power that resides within each particle in the universe.”

Of course, this resonated with me deeply and something I’ve been working on.

I invite you to take a look at his site and photo’s.

Here is my poem written as four Quatrains. I hope it reflects the same power.

Desire, a single word with potency

My lips, your tongue, kisses, licks and twist tops

A push and pull magnetic energy

Same stuff the universe is made up of

A polarity of one up one down

Nadi chakra bath, yours and mine divine,

Stretched and pulled, full raging waves that astound

To whirl with infinity’s mastermind

Desire explodes and galaxies collide,

Light particles, matter’s form equation

A star is born, as a new being thrives

As up is down, a constant elation,

I am open, you are divine, we kneel

Whispered prayers on a wing of a dove

As grace, our spirit, near enough to feel

Wrapped with an entire universe of love…
