Easter Prayer

There is a Christian Church across the street from my home. The song in the air and the first words I heard upon waking at 6:00 am were, “He is Risen!” I feel blessed and still the angelic voice rises with the Sun. For me this is a blessed moment.

God Bless us this day and every day, for Christ our Lord has risen. A day of awakening and rebirth. A transcendence for us all to know our birthright. His spirit lives with each and every one of us, so we may spread the word of his love.

He will never leave us, never has, always in being, blessed be.

Give us this day our daily bread. Breath in the light, Happy Easter!
